Protect filter housing from freezing.
Maximum operating pressure rating of 80 psi, if you suspect that your water pressure will at any time exceed 60 psi, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing and be set at 50 psi or less.
The rubber o-ring provides a good grip between the cap and the sump. Please make sure that the o-ring be properly seated in the groove to avoid any leaks.

I haven’t installed it yet! You should’ve stated “most people that buy this product also by filters.”. I just ordered your filters but you could have list money had I gone to a hardware store!
Great filter very efficient does what it’s supposed to do. Very happy
Got rid of my 20 year old filters and upgraded my system. The Bluonics have a bigger o ring seal than the previous. This makes for a better seal than before. Much easier to use and will last longer than the previous. I shopped prices and these filters were much cheaper and better than the other.
I had an older model of whole house filter bust during the last freeze. Found this one online and it is a direct replacement. It fit where the old one was with no extra pets or plumbing. But, it probably said this housing did not come with a filter but I was disappointed when it got here as I had to then order a filter for it.
