Bluonics Water Filtration FAQ
Bluonics Well Water Systems
Q: With Bluonics Whole House Filter, o I still need a water softener if my water is hard?
A: Yes, If your water is hard, usually with TDS higher than 700 PPM, a water softener need to be installed before the filteration system. Hard water can reduce the lifespan of water filter cartridges. The harder the water, the sooner the filters get clogged.
Note: Softeners and whole house water filters usually do not lower the TDS level of the water. A Reverse Osmosis system may be necessary to lower the TDS for your drinking water.
