The old one failed. This new one has worked fine since I installed it a week ago.
Quick replacement ballast.
We average changing out all the water filters after 6 months of use but I tend to swap out the first filter at the 3 month mark due to our high concentration of particles coming from our large well service system. This works for me and gives me the best tasting water in our area. We also use the UV system and I think that has a profound benefit on killing any critters who sneak past the filters system. All in all I would highly recommend this setup.
